'Sometimes all you need is a little splash of color!'
I was recently commissioned to paint two colorful bouquets for a bedroom that had a bedspread with the colors of coral and lime green. The client wanted other bright colors in the paintings but I had to be careful that the overall impression was of coral and lime green.
It is always a challenge to paint a commission because even though the client tagged one of my other paintings as inspiration I always worry that my final vision won't match theirs. Luckily she was thrilled with the final watercolors and they now have a new home in Memphis, TN
