Every Monday I meet with an art group here in Kingston, TN and we all share the love of creativity. Some knit, crochet, work in clay, stained glass, watercolor, polymer clay and the latest favorite of everyone, alcohol inks.
Alcohol inks come in small bottles and consist of acrylic paint mixed with rubbing alcohol. The paint glides on to slick surfaces like these tiles and creates all sorts of fun designs and then as the alcohol dries they become permeant, colorful paint. It is a challenging, unpredictable and crazy medium to work with but the end results are worth it!
