DAISIES
Watercolor - 8x10
White flowers always present a challenge in watercolor because we have to use the white of the paper instead of white paint. You also have to keep them light while also putting in enough shadows and value change to make them look real. I reflected shades of yellow, purple and green onto the daisy petals.
All of the sudden spring has sprung and everything is starting to bloom. it is our first spring here in Tennessee and I am excited for the warm weather and pretty flowers.
