Welcome to Week 11 of my Creative Monday Challenge. The topic this week is to paint somewhere that holds fond memories for you - your hometown, a vacation spot, a view, the house you grew up in, your garden - any place that makes you feel good.
One summer when I was about twelve my family spent two weeks at the beach in Rhode Island. Growing up in Texas, we were use to the warm, calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico so the rocky shore, huge waves and freezing cold water were a shock to us. We learned jump in the water quickly, dive under the waves so we would not get knocked over and had a wonderful time!
