Watercolor is such a fun and spontaneous medium and there are so many creative things you can do with it. For Waterside Greens I used some stretched cheese cloth on the wet paint to create some texture around the trees. You can see in the detail photo below how it added just that extra touch in the background. Who knew cheese cloth and watercolor went so well together?
