A few weeks ago I got a lovely email from one of my blog followers, welcoming me to Tennessee in such a friendly and southern way. Pat said she was excited to see that I had moved to Oak Ridge, where she lives, and that she would love to be able to take a class from me if I am teaching anywhere. I have to say that it made my day!
Since I am not teaching classes at this time we arranged for her to come to our apartment for a private lesson. She was just as nice and friendly in person and we had a lovely morning working on flowers and negative painting. Always amazing how art can connect us all in such a creative and enriching way!
