What better way to warm up on a cold, winter day in Colorado than to paint a beach scene. I have wonderful memories of summer vacation at South Padre Island off the coast of Texas. We would always go the last week of summer break before we had to head back to school. Lots of sun, sand, jumping waves, collecting shells, floating on inner tubes and best of all family time with my Mom, Dad and brother!
