Tissue Paper and WILDFLOWERS

Watercolor 11x15

I began this watercolor by painting through tissue paper which creates a fun and crazy texture to get your creative juices flowing. After it dried I removed the tissue and began pulling out the shapes of the flowers and leaves. I tried to paint as little as necessary to retain the loose feel of the painting. What do you do to keep yourself from overworking a painting?

  1. Very nice, I like the texture variations.
Overworking a paintin...I've been trying to teach myselft to plan more, and go slower.

  2. Hi Martha, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
