ROSES IN BLOOM

Roses in Bloom began as a class demo where we were using a rectangular shape as part of the background of our flower. The challenge is to create an interesting composition where you allow some of the main subject to overlap in the white border. I used to be too indimidated to paint roses because they are such a perfect flower - now I just try to enjoy their beauty!
