This was one of my all time favorite florals to paint and I am happy that it has a new home in Colorado. I had a lot of fun creating the stripes and checks in the background and suggesting a pattern on the pitcher vase. Bright, pastel colors and bold shapes with a hint of whimsy - who could ask for anything more!
