Watercolor Batik Workshop of Birds and Trees by Colorado Artist Martha Kisling

Last Saturday I taught a Watercolor Batik Workshop where we painted birds and trees. It is always a fun technique where we use watercolors, melted wax and rice paper. Even though we all started with the same design everyone added their own unique touch using different colors and painting styles to create a one of a kind painting. I don't have room to show all the students or paintings but thought you might enjoy seeing a few of them and how different each one is - a great day enjoying the creative process!
