Club 47 Challenge - Day 40 - New Creative Monday Group - Flickr

I have really enjoyed coming up with Creative Monday Challenges since the first of the year and have received some photos of artwork from people participating in it but have been wanting to come up with a better way for those of you that would like to participate to share your ideas. I just signed up for Flickr, a photo sharing site that has become very popular lately, because I saw another artist using it for a place to share her work. I have created a group called Creative Monday Challenge Group where you can post any of the artwork you have done in response to that week's creative challenge.

If you are new to Flickr the first thing you will need to do is sign up for a free flickr account.
After you have created a flickr account, then upload your photos to it.
Then you need to join the  Creative Monday Challenge Group  on Flickr - look for the little "join this group" link to the right under the group name.
Once you join, go back to the group home page at http://www.flickr.com/groups/creativemondaychallenge/ See a link that says "add photos", click that and on the next screen you should see all your photos on the left side and a box that says "your selections" on the right. You can only add 3 photos to the group a day. Click on the photos that you want to add and they'll pop into the box on the right. When you're done, click the "Add to group" button at the bottom. That's it!

Adding a tag to a photo:
To tag a photo, upload it to flickr and then once it finishes uploading click the "add a description" link and you'll see a box to add a description and a box where you can add tags.

Hopefully this will be a fun way to post, share and comment on artwork created  for each weekly challenge.
