Blue has always been one of my favorite colors, even as a child. My room had a baby blue bedspread with blue checked fabric for a bed ruffle, pillows and curtains. I think my mom even made a cute blue skirt to go around my little dressing table. I would often sit in the window seat with a good book and feel totally loved and protected - great childhood memories!
