I love to paint butterflies. I drew the large butterfly and used masking fluid to protect the white paper, then wet everything and started painting the background colors. I spattered some paint and water to add texture and help suggest flowers. When it was dry I removed the masking fluid, painted the butterfly and used negative painting for the flowers and small butterflies. Definitely makes me ready for spring!
