Last week I was lucky enough to spend three days in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado for a girls/art trip. The second day we had beautiful snow falling outside our window so we just spent the whole day painting, laughing and of course eating - doesn't get any better than that!
This is one of the paintings that I finished that day. I always seem to have a stack of half finished paintings that were started as class demos. I continued a theme of checkered squares in the background that I have used in some other paintings - fun!
