ROSE, LOVE & MUSIC - Watercolor Collage

Just in time for Valentine's Day! This painting started as a demo on roses and then I decided to shake things up by adding stamping and collage. I used gesso to stamp 'love' and the music notes, I used green watercolor on bubble wrap for the dot texture and then randomly collaged on rectangular shapes of thin rice paper to the background, leaves and the rose. Sometimes it is nice to just sit back and have fun with a painting.
