Well, I keep hoping spring has come to the Rockies but we got another quick snow storm on Sunday - maybe soon. Until then I will just paint spring flowers. I started this painting wet on wet with alot of color but avoided the areas I wanted white flowers. When it was dry I used used negative painting to refine the blooms, especially the white ones, and then painted positively to add more details to the flowers themselves.
